Chicken Stew

Ingredients

1 Large Chicken, stewed and bone removed, keep in larger than bite size pieces.
4 Large potatoes cleaned and skin on, cut in quarters.
4 Large carrots cut in quarters
2 Large Onions cut in quarters
2 tsp. curry powder
2 tsp. minced garlic
dash of pepper
Salt to taste

Directions

Cook whole chicken in 4 quarts water with garlic, curry powder, salt and pepper. cook on low boil till chicken is done, then remove chicken from stock and let cool, take meat from bone in large pieces. To stock, add potatoes, carrots and onions boil till tender and done. Add chicken back in and do not boil, serve over rice or with cornbread.
